The Marketplace is where farmers can buy and sell resources.

Visit the Marketplace Vendor in the hub to open it.

### Marketplace actions

You can:

| Action       | Description                            |
| ------------ | -------------------------------------- |
| Buy | Purchase items listed by other farmers |
| Sell | List your own resources |
| Cancel | Remove your own active listing |
| View history | Check recent Marketplace activity |

### Marketplace currency

The Marketplace uses:

```
Token
```

### Seller fee

Marketplace sales include a seller fee:

```
5%
```

This fee is taken from the seller side of the trade.

### Sellable items

Examples of sellable items:

| Item Type  | Examples                      |
| ---------- | ----------------------------- |
| Crops | Potato, Carrot, Tomato, Wheat |
| Resources  | Wood, Stone, Coal             |
| Fish items | Fish, Cooked Fish |

### Items that cannot be sold

Some items cannot be listed.

Examples:

| Not Sellable |
| ------------ |
| Coins        |
| Token        |
| Water        |
| Watering Can |

### Tips

Check prices before listing.

If you list too low, your items may sell quickly but earn less. If you list too high, they may take longer to sell.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.playlittlefarmers.com/game-systems/marketplace.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
